National Association of Masonic Scouters (NAMS) consists generally of Freemasons who participate as volunteers in the program of the Boy Scouts of America. The goals of the group include providing opportunities to extend Masonic values to youth through the program of the Boy Scouts of America, opportunities for Masonic Lodges to sponsor Scout units, opportunities to promote the Daniel Carter Beard Masonic Scouter Award, opportunities for friendship and fellowship among Masons at Scouting events, and other things.
