Spring 2026 Festival

Kudu Lodge No. 8662 will host the KLA Spring 2026 Festival on Saturday 2nd May 2026.  The meeting will be held at the Masonic Hall Radlett, The Rose Walk, Radlett WD7 7JS, in the Province of Hertfordshire. 

The agenda for this Scouting Lodge looks as different as the venue with a special guest speaker.

Booking form and summons will be available from Saturday 14th February (an easy date to remember).

Places are allocated on a ‘first come’ basis. So please book early. A reserve list will be kept.

Timetable for the day

09.30 – 10:00 Lodge open. Bacon roll available – pre booking required

11:00 KLA Committee Meeting for Committee Members and Lodge Representatives

12:30 Lunch – Buffet available – pre booking required

14:00 Lodge Meeting of Kudu Lodge 8662 (open only in 1st Degree) with a presentation.

16:00 Festive Board

18:30 (approx.) End of Proceedings

Festive Board

The festive board will commence at 16:00 and finish by 18:30.

The dining fee is £36.00 for three courses including tea coffee and mints, exclusive of wine.

Coffee and Biscuits are available on arrival.

For those who prebook a bacon roll will be available for early arrivals at a cost of £5.00 per head, and buffet lunch can be provided at 12:30 hrs at a cost of £10 per head.

A bar is available.

Please detail any dietary requirement on the form when you book.

The temple and dining room can only accommodate a maximum of 80 in each so please book early to avoid disappointment. It will also help the Lodge and Caterers!

Directions

By Road

If you’re on the M25 heading westbound (from east/London side):

  1. Continue on the M25 to Junction 22. This is a common exit for Radlett and nearby villages.
  2. At the roundabout, take the exit onto the B556 towards Radlett / London Colney (signposted).
  3. Continue and then merge onto A5183 (Watling Street) heading towards Radlett town centre.
  4. Stay on Watling Street (A5183) through Radlett village centre.
  5. Turn right into The Rose Walk (a small residential street just off the A5183).
  6. Follow The Rose Walk to number 3 – your destination.

 

If you’re on the M25 heading eastbound (from west side):

  1. Continue to Junction 21A. Take the exit toward A405 south (St Albans / Watford).
  2. At the next major junction, join the A5183 (Watling Street) northbound towards Radlett.
  3. Drive through Radlett town centre on Watling Street.
  4. Turn right into The Rose Walk.
  5. Follow it to number 3 – your destination.

 

Driving Directions from the M1 – From the M1 (north or south):

  1. Leave the M1 at Junction 6A o Follow signs for M25 (clockwise) towards Heathrow.
  2. Join the M25 clockwise and continue for a short distance.
  3. Exit the M25 at Junction 22 (signposted Radlett / London Colney).
  4. At the roundabout, take the exit onto the B556 towards Radlett.
  5. Continue straight ahead and then join the A5183 (Watling Street) heading into Radlett.
  6. Drive through Radlett village centre on Watling Street.
  7. Turn right into The Rose Walk (a small residential turning off the A5183).
  8. Continue along The Rose Walk to number 3.
